Colonies on Mars - Imagine That - Book Review

They say that if the human mind can imagine it, visualize it, and think about it; it can create it. Indeed, after studying human innovation, I could not agree more. Perhaps, that's why I enjoy science fiction like futurist art and innovative future like concepts. Every once in a while a book comes out, with the right tone, images, and feasible technologies that change the way we think and what we believe is possible or not.

One book I have in my library is just such a book; it's not a large book, it's not much bigger than a magazine, but it is in full color, and it depicts colonies on Mars, base stations, rocket ships, and all the technologies needed to live on the surface of a planet that is not hospitable to human life; for instance how to build the green houses, create oxygen, and recycle everything including; human waste. Perhaps, you'd like to look through a book like this as well, to help you dream into the future, so we can all create it. The book I'd like to recommend to you is;

"Popular Mechanics; Space 2100 To Mars and beyond in the Century to Come," by the editors of popular mechanics.

One thing that was very interesting about this book is that they push the date out to 2100 when in reality we actually have the technologies to create a colony on Mars right now. Of course, we don't have the will to spend the money to do it right, so it may be a few decades until we do, or until there is a new resurgence of the same public drive we had during the Apollo missions to the moon.

Nevertheless, someday it will be so; if you'd like to see a futurist depiction of what that will look like then I would very much recommend that you buy this book. Please consider it.

Nancy Madore's Enchanted

This book is a wonderful arrangement of Erotic Short Stories. All in which are cleverly written and allows you to be drawn into each fantasy. You can find this particular book is found through Harlequin's Spice and some of the stories were re-published through Spice Briefs. The new take on the old fairy tale classics will leave you speechless.

Even if you're not sure about the Erotic side of this book, the witty twist of each story is enough for you to take a look at. There are thirteen different stories total, each with it's own unique take.

• Beauty and the Beast~ Gives you a whole new look on the Classic • Bluebeard~ This story was intriguing. • Cat and Mouse~ I loved this one! • Cinderella~ Her idea to what happened to Cinderella after the slipper was intoxicating! • East of the Sun and West of the Moon~ Brilliant! • Goldilocks and the Three Barons~ Okay this one was a little out there...But I essentially enjoyed it. • Mirror on the Wall~ This gives you a whole new look at the Snow White's evil stepmother. • Mrs. Fox~ This was naughty, but delightful! Hee-hee... • Snow White in the Woods~ I ended up loving it after being a little traumatized at first. • The Empress' New Clothes~ Again, the overall writing was remarkable and creative. • The Goose Girl~ Different story line, good script, interesting intake. • The Sheep in Wolves' Clothing~ Very original. • The Ugly Duckling~ I don't want to boost the authors ego...but damn! A wonderful way to end a book.

I highly recommend this intoxicating reserve. And if you are a little sheepish in Erotica, call it an inspirational leap! Happy reading!
